Happy Halloween!

We had a very fun Halloween here at the Bergman house! The weekend we found out Noelle is a girl, we went to my in-law's town to get pumpkins and decorate jack-o-lanterns. Michelle had fun running around the pumpkin patch and kissing piggy statues :)

All week long, Michelle was excited and talked about trick-or-treating. We decorated the house and wore our most festive Halloween gear.

The night of Halloween we walked around the block and then passed out candy to the kids in our neighborhood. We thought we'd get more kids, but we only got about 10-15 kids. I bought two bags of candy, but we used about 1/2 of one bag.

Mish was so excited and polite while trick-or-treating! Everyone thought she was the cutest Tinkerbell ever. I have to agree :)

Happy Halloween from us! Here's a flashback from our first Halloween with Michelle. Such a cute pumpkin <3

Choo Choo

One Michael's birthday weekend we drove home from Y to spend time at our house in the Bay Area. Michael loves Zachary's pizza in Oakland/Berkeley, so his parents and sisters met us out there for a evening of family time and good food.

Before we went to the restaurant with the family, we went to Oscar's in Berkeley for lunch, and then met at Tilden Park to ride the train, and then shop at some of our favorite secondhand shops.
Michelle loved riding the trains and kept saying "choo choo" to anyone who walked by. We cannot wait to go back! Hopefully when we do go back, the little farm and carousel will be open for business (they were closed due to a pipe leak and decoration for xmas).

Sitting with Mama in the caboose area.

The wait for our pizza was TWO HOURS, which was longer than normal and they tossed in a free pizza for the mishap. Of course we didn't mind, because the pizza is worth the wait!
While we waited, Michelle played with her aunts and drove a motorcycle on her own. Lol, no, she wishes. Really, she does - she's just too hardcore.

Ready to ride

At Zachary's, the whole restaraunt sang "happy birthday" to Michael. He said he has never been embarassed by the singing of his birthday until that moment. The whole  place sang; it was hilarious and awesome.

As I typed this, Michelle saw the pictures of herself on the train and started laughing and cheering. Looks like she can't wait to go back too!
Riding again, this time in an open car

Autumn Love

I think it has taken me a million years to update, but since we had such a fun weekend I felt inspired to write again.
It is my very favorite time of year - Autumn. The brisk weather, the smell of rain in the air, and comfy cozy clothes. This Autumn is especially lovely because those fall colors are particularly vibrant up in Northern California/Southern Oregon. If it weren't for the flawlessly blue skies, I'd bet we'd have snow by now (it's been SO COLD), but instead we get a prolonged Autumn and I'm definitely not complaining!

Playing at the park in Y

This past weekend my in-laws came up to Y to spend time with our little family. We were super excited to have them up here, and we made sure to do something fun all weekend long.
Spin spin spin!
Saturday we went up to Oregon and had breakfast at Morning Glory, this amazing breakfast place with the best Lemon Ricotta Stuffed French Toast! Then we spent the first part of the day in Ashland shopping and hanging out by the duck pond we love so much. Fall colors were out, and the pond was stunningly beautiful.

Ducks, leaves, fall colors, oh my!

Mama and her best girl

After, we went to Medford and spent way too much at Victoria's Secret (hey, our boobs deserve some love now and then!), walked around the mall, then had sushi at a restaurant with great food and despicable service.
She is always happy when on the go!
Sunday we made breakfast at home, watched the 49ers game, then went to a pumpkin patch close to Y. It was at a small family run farm, and was so flipping cute. It was the last day of pumpkin selling, so we got 4 huge pumpkins for only $5! Good deal!

Michael's shadow says hi ;-)

A few weekends ago we hit up another pumpkin patch in Napa with my in-laws and got the CUTEST pictures! I'll share all of those below :)

We can't wait until Halloween! Our little lady is going to be dressing up as a cow! AH!

Look at that pose! Diva!
